• ★ is Born and raised in Oakland, North California to a community family of many brothers and sisters, she paved her own pathway to success. She is the Co-founder of the creative enterprise, the Pata Ali Love Club. She is a Cultural Curator, Photographer and our Beloved Urban Art Fairy!
Born into a family of Creatives, Activists, Entrepreneurs and Village Servants, she is all about legacy and passing down the wisdom, knowledge and stories from generation to generation. She knows that it is expression and wisdom that binds the generations, transmits culture and restores our village.
The Great Niece of both Oil Tycoon, Jake Simmons Jr. And the Legendary Guitarman, Leadbelly, Patanisha recognizes the importance of knowing our origins and honors her Ancestors with a passionate dedication to Community Healing through business and creativity. Known for her belief in the magic of Love, she names all of her crew Urban Fairies and Wizards.
She is a Story Collector in all of it’s forms: Verbal, Written, Music, Film And Art but overall she is most proud of her work with Youth. Being a 4th Generation Oaklander and coming from a huge loving village she has worked and volunteered over 20 yrs in youth development for School Districts, Parks and Rec, Non Profits, Youth Centers And Churches.
Her programming is art based with an emphasis on Cross generational connection and healing. It is an extension of what she’s learned from the Queens that have touched her. This history has made the unexpected transition to sectors of Mental Health and Production a seamless one.
Through the Love Club, Patanisha collaborates cross sectors; Business, Artists, local government and a ton of good causes to promote Love as a culture. A true Ancestor Baby!
